Series History
The Arizona State Sundevils and Oregon State Beavers first met in 1961 in Tempe with the Sundevils winning 23-14. Following that loss the Men in Black rattled off five straight victories. After that win streak the Beavers have won just three games in the lasy 28 tries.
Currently (2007), ASU holds a 24-9-1 overall advantage, a 5-4-1 lead in Corvallis and a 18-3 lead in Tempe. ASU has won eight of the last 10.
Many of the Beavers losses have come on the road as Arizona State has faced the Beavers in Arizona 21 times while traveling to Oregon just 13 times.
In the last decade the Beavers and Sundevils have blown each other out with the victorious team winning by double digits in nine of the last 10 clashes.
