Arizona Wildcats

Series History

The Arizona Wildcats and Oregon State Beavers first met in 1966 in Portland as the Beavers defeated the Wildcats 31-2. It would be the Beavers only win against UA in the next 22 years.

Currently (2007), UA holds a 20-9-1 overall advantage, a 8-5-1 lead in Corvallis and a 11-3 lead in Tucson. Out of Oregon State's nine Pac-10 foes, the Beavers have faced Arizona the least.

Arizona dominated the series early on, but in the last decade Beavers have manhandled the Wildcats winning eight of the last 10.

From 2001-2003 the Beaver defense did not give up a touchdown against UA yielding just 15 total points in three games.
